In October of 2024 we will be embarking on a two day trip to Hilliardton Marsh! Get ready to join the banding station in a hunt for migrating owl species, and a day of exploring the vast landscapes of Northern Ontario.

Join us for a relaxing and educational weekend in the middle of the boreal forest wilderness from the comfort of an accessible research station. Come watch hundreds of migrating winter finches feeding in front of you, participate in a field sketching workshop, search for winter raptors across the snowy landscape, and help with important migratory bird research!

Join us for a memorable experience as we explore all the amazing flora and fauna the Bruce has to offer. From orchids to ferns and uncommon breeding birds, there is always something to find. This trip is a 2 hour morning guided hike at Petrel Point Nature Reserve.

Carden hosts the rarest habitat that can be found in Ontario: the limestone alvar! Join us in exploring this unique grassland habitat as we search for largely sought after breeding bird species such as the endangered Loggerhead Shrike.
