Pelee Island is one of the best destinations in Ontario for witnessing spring migration. All of the amazing birding that you get at Point Pelee, but with no crowds and the enchanting atmosphere of a small island community. Join us on a 2.5 day private tour in Late April or early May of 2026, as we bird at one of our favourite destinations in Ontario! Trip lists can easily exceed 130 species including many species of warblers, vireos, thrushes, rarities and more!

In eastern Ontario lies a hidden gem of winter birding: Amherst Island! While you may be missing the colourful and diverse spring migrants, winter birding can produce just as much excitement! Join us on March 7 for an adventure to the island to search for overwintering migrants such as winter finches, Short-eared Owl, Northern Saw-whet Owl, Barred Owl, and Rough-legged Hawk.

Join us on March 21 for a winter adventure at Algonquin Provincial Park! 

During this trip our main targets will be boreal specialties such as winter finches (crossbills, Evening and Pine Grosbeaks, Pine Siskins, Redpolls), Black-backed Woodpeckers, Spruce Grouse and the charismatic Canada Jays! We will be hiking on on well maintained trails that take us through gorgeous boreal bogs and spruce forests. There will also be an optional bonus owl prowl the night before the tour!

Join us on February 7/8 for an adventure along the Niagara River! We will be targeting overwintering birds with our main focus being gulls and waterfowl. As larger bodies of water freeze up during the winter, many gulls and ducks congregate along the open waters of the Niagara river. This time of year is perfect to explore the Niagara area and learn about Gull ID. If gull ID or winter birding daunts you, this will be a great introduction!
