Cancellation Policy
The Cancellation Policy comes into effect when a client cancels their participation in any given tour that will still be proceeding as scheduled. When you sign up with GyrKite Birding Tours, we want you to have an accessible, friendly, and fun nature experience. Our guided tours come with a lot of behind-the-scenes planning and research, as well as travel and accommodation expenses, so that our tours can run efficiently and every client can get the most out of their experience. If for whatever reason a client must cancel their participation in a tour that we provide, whether it be due to situations such as sickness, emergencies, or anything of a personal matter, the Cancellation Policy will come into effect. If you are notified that a tour you are participating in is being cancelled on part of the guides, then you are not obligated to make any payment and will receive a full refund.
The Cancellation Policy is as follows:

You will receive a full refund if you cancel your participation in any group tour four (4) days or more prior to the outing.

You will receive a 50% refund if you cancel your participation in any group tour two-three (2-3) days prior to the outing.

You will not receive a refund if you cancel your participation in any tour the day of or the day prior to the outing.

Full refunds will be given if we decide to cancel the tour for any reason, regardless of when the tour may be.
The cancellation policy will remain the same for all group tours, however, it may differ for private and overnight tours depending on the resources and planning involved. If the cancellation policy for a private or overnight tour is different, we will make that distinction clear on the tour page.
